Dell XPS 18 : The tablet-cum-desktop gadget

One of the most famous PC makers Dell Corporation unveiled their new all-in-one touchscreen tablet-cum-desktop Dell XPS 18. The device runs on Windows 8. The device makes challenge to the Sony Vaio Tap 20, Panasonic 4K, and Asus Transformer AiO.

The device is a giant tab-cum-PC. The device comes with a stand that makes it look a PC monitor. It also has a Bluetooth key supplied with it, it is very useful. A Bluetooth mouse is also included in the pack. You can use it as a convectional desktop PC when you need. The company says that the device is target professional families. Size and Build
The device has an 18.4-inch full HD screen. The 18-ich screen is widely used as desktop monitors. The Dell XPS 18 weights 2.2kg. It is only 4.3mm thick, so it’s portable, but the comparatively big screen makes it difficult.
It runs on a full desktop version of Windows 8. The screen has a resolution of 1080px. It looks like a desktop monitor, than a tablet on its stand.

Features
The device has the features of a tablet as well as a desktop. It can be used for anything, videos, movies, songs and it does everything that a desktop can do. It can also be used on a flat surface.

It is also suited for multiplayer gaming. As in every Windows 8 tablet, apps can be downloaded from the Windows store, and used. One of the great features of the device is that up to four individuals can take control over the device and use it.

Even though the tablet looks big, Dell doesn’t point it. It touchscreen is very responsive.  It can be said the best touchscreen made for Windows 8.

The theory of the tablet-cum-desktop is that, it can be used as a worksheet for professionals and a game console for the kids.

The device makes an end for the separate-separate computer for each in a family, as it can be used as a tablet and a desktop.

It is certainly an impressive product with good features. It’s sure that many companies will come with tablet-com-desktop like this.
