More than having a tight control on the ball, it also has the ability to hold up ball for more than time in older versions. The hold-on time depends upon the power, ability and control of the player with the ball. If a player is used for defence in a whole season; we cannot expect that he will be a great success.

Skill GamesAs seen in older versions of FIFA from 2012, in FIFA 14 also there is a skill game which appears in the load time of a game; which is meant to improve the shot skills and power. The skill games allow the gamer to raise their skill. FIFA 14 also introducing mini-games that you can play against your friends.
