Sony VPL-HW50ES : Amazing projector; Amazing price

Sony VPL-HW50ES is the latest third generation projector from the Japanese firm Sony. It seems to be the best projector from the company.

It’s something different from its ancestors in every spec like the intelligent Contrast Enhancer, which dynamically adjusts the lens for the best possible position.

The device is built in Silicon X-tal Reflexive display technology, which refreshes at a sprightly 240Hz. The main rivals of the device are JVC DLA-X35 and Epson EH-TW8100. Let’s go on to its specs and features.

Build
The device is available in both white and black. It’s a combination of beauty and bulk with a glossy finish. It’s not so heavy and it only weights 9.6Kg which is not so heavy for a
projector. The dimension of the device is 16 x 7 x 18.  The device is very easy to install in homes and halls. The device is both suitable for ceiling and tables.

The device is comparatively a low-sound device as its fan produces a very low sound of 21dB. There are two outputs; which includes two HDMI and PC inputs.

The device comes with very great features such as the Motionflow, which manages motion clarity. It also has a picture processing technology. The device boosts high-quality videos such as the Blu-ray.

Picture Quality
The device has a very good picture quality that defeats other high-cost models. The pictures produced by the device are sharp and black level performance is amazing.

The contrast is boosted by dynamic iris. The device produces astonishing colour combination when it needs it goes dark and when it needs it goes bright. The brightness is measured at 1,700 lumens. The device has 8 Modes for 2D and 3D that’s’ Cinema Film 1-2, REF TV, Photo, Game, BRT Cine, BRT TV, and User.

Unfortunately, you need to change to TV viewing mode manually in a dark –low-light room to get a full cinema view. The box includes two pairs of USB rechargeable 3D glasses, which help in viewing 3D modes more clearly even though the device does not present high-quality 3D pictures.

The box comes with other extras such as the AC Power Cord, Lens Cap, LMP-H202 Lamp (extra replacement LMP-H202 included), and Image Director (downloadable by user).

After Words
The device can be said a quiet, handsome and awesome-performing, and low-cost projector. As mentioned above the device is available in both white and black colours.

The device is a very good product at a price point of £3,000.
The device is best for viewing sports events in a hall or in a media room. The agile iris delivers a dynamic contrast range of 100,000:1. The maximum power consumption of the device is 300w. From all this we can say it’s a best top-order and affordable device for individuals as well as institutions.
